19 June Management Times Press release

Penny Hughes, the Chair of Riverstone, was recently the subject of an article by Management Today and described as “one of Britain’s most experienced boardroom figures,” has had a career journey that’s nothing short of extraordinary.

This began at The Coca-Cola Company GB & Ireland, where she quickly climbed the ranks to become President at the young age of 32. Throughout her journey, Penny has successfully broken barriers by balancing family and mutual career aspirations.

With a wealth of experience, Penny has made an impact at companies such as Vodafone, Reuters, Gap Inc., and Morrisons, and has chaired Aston Martin Lagonda, iQ Student Accommodation, The Gym Group, and Riverstone.

As Chair of Riverstone, Penny is passionate about making a difference in society. She is addressing London’s lack of premium retirement living and is determined to make a change with Riverstone.

Penny said, “We are not a retirement sort of village that is cut off from the rest of the world, we are an absolutely thriving place to live in the centre of London”
